At Brick Lane Jazz Festival we strive to make all of our shows enjoyable and accesible to everyone. Although our participating venues each have their own unique quirks and challenges, with your feedback we can identify issues and come up with practical solutions. If you need a ticket for a companion, carer or personal assistant, we are happy to provide a ticket free of charge. Please contact us here prior to booking so we can understand more about your needs and how we can best support you.

Accessible public transport

London Buses

Every London bus route is wheelchair accessible, with automatic ramps and designated wheelchair spaces

By Train

The nearest national overground train station is Liverpool Street Station with operates many trains on a regular basis to various parts of the country – Please make sure to check running times before you travel.

Parking and by car

Public transport is by far the easiest way to get to us, but if you are traveling by car here is some information about the car parks on site. Disabled parking spaces can be arranged in advance if you contact us here.

Access at our venues

All of our participating venues for 2023 are wheelchair accessible and have disabled toilets with the exception of Ninety One Living Room* More information on each of our venues can be found on the individual websites :

*Ninety One Living Room is currently under audit for necessary works. If you would like to attend a performance at this venue please get in touch here and we’ll do our best to meet your needs.

Viewing and audience participation

In the instance you are concerned about visibility please speak with one of our stewards on site. we will aim to secure a good viewing spot for yourself and your carer (if applicable) but cannot guarantee we will achieve the desired position due to the popularity of certain shows and attendance levels.

Blind or vision impaired visitors

Please let us know in advance by contacting us here and we will aim to make your experience as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.

Guide and assistance dogs

Guide and hearing assistance dogs are welcome, however please let us know when you are booking. We can discuss suitable locations where your dog can stay throughout the show. Alternatively, if you would like your dog to be looked after, we'll arrange for someone to meet you at the entrance and guide you to your seat.

General Assistance

For general assistance at our venues buying drinks, using the cloakroom, navigating the crowds or finding your way across site, please see one of our stewards who will be wearing a Brick Lane Jazz Festival T Shirt. They will be happy to help you.

Medical room and emergencies

We will have festival medics at various locations across site at all times. If you require any assistance or a private area at any point, please speak to a member of our staff. Particular requirements can be arranged in advance. Please contact a member of our team here

Strobe lighting and special effects

Certain shows may include strobe lighting and smoke effects.If this is an issue, please do let one of our team know, before or during an event.
