About Brick Lane Jazz Festival 2026

Brick Lane Jazz Festival returns to the Truman Brewery for its fifth year in 2026, from Friday 24 to Sunday 26 April, with yet another mind-expanding & genre-defying line-up that mirrors the vibrant convergence of London’s thriving underground music scenes. The focus, as always, is on spotlighting emerging talent, bringing together artists from jazz, hip-hop, neo-soul, R&B, broken beat and electronic music, who will perform across twelve iconic music venues on and around Brick Lane.

The venues

All within a few minutes’ walk, our venues reflect the spirit of London’s underground culture. Rough Trade East brings heritage record store energy to their live stage, while Ninety One Living Room is hosted by our partners Jazz re:freshed. Tomorrow’s Warriors spotlight rising UK jazz at the Brick Lane Tap Room, while Café 1001 delivers pure vinyl sets and dancefloor vibes. Juju’s Bar & Stage brings Afro grooves and terrace cocktails, while 93 Feet East blends clubbing with alt-R&B/hip-hop. Rich Mix hosts boundary-pushing artists from across Europe, and the red brick warehouse walls of Village Underground host our Main Stage.

Brick Lane Conference

New for 2026, Brick Lane Jazz Festival introduces the Brick Lane Conference, running from Thursday 23 to Saturday 25 April 2026. The conference forms an integral part of the festival week, overlapping with the live music programme and expanding the festival experience beyond the stages.

Designed to support artists and music professionals, the conference features talks, workshops, mentoring sessions, networking mixers, exhibits, live radio broadcasts and exclusive performances. While the conference is separately ticketed via Pro Pass, it sits at the heart of the festival, offering a space for learning, connection and exchange alongside the core festival programme.

Hosted at the new Flow State Hub in Ely’s Yard, with evening networking events at Juju’s Bar and Stage, Brick Lane Conference brings together leading voices from across jazz, underground and independent music to help shape the future of the scene.
