Allexa Nava is a saxophonist, flautist and composer, originally from Peru and currently residing in London.
Having performed at some of the most prestigious venues in London, Poland, France and Norway including Ronnie Scotts, Barbican & Duc de Lombards. Also with a UK tour under her sleeve.
Her reputation as a bandleader and composer has soared following the release of her highly anticipated debut EP, No Language, on the influential Jazz Re:freshed label and her newest double single, To Nostalgia and Explorations on 5db Records.
These releases marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter for this emerging talent, whose fresh perspective and technical prowess are ready to breathe new life into the contemporary jazz scene. It is no surprise that Allexa’s recordings have already received radio play both here in the UK and internationally, including Jazz FM and BBC Introducing London, Antena 3 in Portugal, and also was ‘disque du jour’ on TSF Jazz in France.
