Skanda Sabbagh is a musician, percussionist, music producer, and BAFTA-nominated composer. He is the Supporting Grassroots Music Relationship Manager for London at Arts Council England, and also supports a portfolio of Global Majority–led, core-funded music organisations (NPOs). He has toured nationally and internationally with Balimaya Project, and was previously the director of his family’s community centre in Wood Green, where he created employment pathways for migrant workers and delivered percussion-led programmes within the youth justice system across Haringey and Hackney. His work operates at the intersection of the commercial music industry, community voice, and cultural equity.
