South London-raised bassist and composer, Genevieve Namazzi, brings her newly formed quartet to the stage at Brick Lane Jazz Festival 2026.

Her compositions are mix of influences from her cultural heritage, classical background, and have been described as ‘uplifting’, ‘heartfelt’ and ‘groovy’. She is greatly inspired by musicians such as Tigran Hamasyan, Linda May Han Oh, Mark Guiliana, and Esperanza Spalding alongside mentors Jasper Høiby, Gary Crosby and Shri Sriram.

Genevieve shares the stage with the extraordinary talents Maddy Coombs (sax), Emily Tran (piano), and Edmund Ashmore (drums).
