Local South London husband and wife team, Handson Family (Cyndi Anafo & Chris Ellis) have been DJing and promoting independent black music in the capital primarily for over two decades, Passionate about the UK’s legacy of Black music club culture and the community that they were both raised in, Ellis and Anafo have created a host of endeavours that have consistently platform independent music in the capital. Outside of their guest DJ sets, their independent promotional efforts have seen them curating regular music sessions in South London including being the music arm of new Brixton-wide festival @brixtonharlem and hosting their own HERITAGE stage at London’s best soul, funk & jazz festival Cross The Tracks.
