Drawing influence from the whimsical musicality of Looney Tunes and Gumball to the timeless glow of Vince Guaraldi soundtracks, Harrison has crafted a lane all his own — DIET JAZZ, as he playfully calls it. NPR Music hailed him as “a high-achieving polymath” whose work “fuses synthetic beats with complex, jazz-like arrangements,” a versatility echoed by KEXP’s praise of his “well-crafted set of jazz-tinged electronic grooves incorporating elements of hip hop, R&B and other styles.” FLOOD Magazine captured the magic at the core of his catalog, writing that “the jazzy soundscapes he creates feel rooted in a sense of childhood wonder revisited for the first time in years.”

And next up is his most intimate project yet: Quiet Miles, a new EP arriving January 16 on Last Gang/MNRK. The EP features acclaimed saxophonist Jaleel Shaw (Robert Glasper, Nate Smith) across several tracks. Built around warm, late-night melodies and a deeper embrace of his jazz-leaning instincts, Quiet Miles finds Harrison distilling the nostalgia, playfulness, and emotional clarity that have defined his music into something even more focused. It’s a project that expands the DIET JAZZ universe while marking a confident new chapter in his evolving sound.
