Guided by a quest for liberation and transcendence, Jesa is exploring the depths of her innermost self through sounds and words. Her deep and soothing voice immerses us in warm and inviting or somber and torturous atmospheres, and raises our spirits in a powerful surge of life.
A singer-songwriter, producer, vocalist and multi-instrumentalist, she builds a distinctive sound, drawing inspiration from the works of Esperanza Spalding, Joni Mitchell, Prince and Samora Pinderhughes, keeping at the heart of her work an honest and unwavering connection to her emotions.
After her noteworthy debut EP FACES, released in 2023, and connections on the London and Paris scenes, Jesa will release Broken Shell, her first album, in 2027. Through a journey of experimentation and self-discovery with raw and intimate songwriting, she infuses her jazz roots with atmospheres and textures drawn from folk, rock and ambient music, creating an uncompromising, colourful tapestry in which her music comes to life with a liberating force.
