Joe Armon-Jones is a keyboardist, producer, songwriter and bandleader based in south London. An alumnus of the influential jazz education programme Tomorrow’s Warriors and a founding member of the BRIT Award-winning Ezra Collective, his virtuoso piano playing and improvisatory talents have made him a sought-after collaborator, lending his talents to projects spanning jazz, dub, electronic, pop, and hip-hop..

Armon-Jones released his first solo album, Starting Today, on Giles Peterson’s Brownswood, in 2018, following it up the next year with Turn To Clear View – a sumptuous blend of jazz, funk and rap featuring appearances from Georgia Anne Muldrow (Brainfeeder) and Obongjayar (XL) that was named one of the best 10 releases of the year in Time magazine.

In 2021 Armon-Jones launched his own record label, Aquarii Records, as an outlet for his solo and collaborative work, which has included 2022’s A Way Back, a speaker-shaking EP made with dubstep pioneer Mala, and 2023’s Archetype, a club-ready link-up with his long-term creative partner Maxwell Owin. In 2025, he embarked on his biggest creative project to date– the two-part opus All The Quiet, which received widespread critical acclaim both nationally and internationally.
