Featuring musicians from such projects as Yussef Dayes, Loyle Carner and Kokoroko, Harry Ling, a.k.a. Mackwood has been joining the ranks of London's most celebrated creatives.

Alongside a busy schedule as a drummer and producer for the likes of Col3trane and ELIZA, he has also featured alongside premier Jazz musicians from projects like Kokoroko, Yussef Dayes and Louis Cole. Emerging buzz in 2023 for his shows as Mackwood shifts focus to his own brand of cross discipline composition, production and bandleading.

With an affinity for progressive Jazz, beatmaking and alternative dancefloor rhythms, Mackwood combines the cream of UK and international Jazz pedigree with London’s burgeoning player/producer elite. His upcoming music continues the UK's celebrated tradition of crossover sounds with a strikingly deft ear for sonic detail, exploring reflection and reconnection in the evermore rapidly changing human condition.

The past year has seen Mackwood take his own project to new heights as he gears to release his debut album, with festival appearances at Lost Village, We Out Here and Love Supreme. Packed shows at the Royal Albert Hall, Ronnie Scott’s and Jazz Re:Freshed have built a buzz, bolstered by radio play on Radio 6, Balamii and Worldwide FM as well as hundreds of thousands of views across Instagram & TikTok.
