Some people have a way of making the world feel lighter, MURPHY arrives with music that sits in the space between giving strength and needing it back. Raised between Huyton, York, Leeds and further afield, he’s been circling music his whole life without quite stepping into the centre of it. His music carries a similar sense of intimacy: lived-in grooves, space to breathe, and a voice that feels like it’s carrying a lifetime of experience. It’s powerful without showboating and echoes like a distant memory you didn’t realise you’d been holding onto.
