Sean Innit has been a mainstay of the DJ circuit since the early 90s, blending decades of industry expertise with an obsession for high-fidelity sound. As a founding team member of the late Andy Williams’ (Yam Who?) influential labels, Midnight Riot and ISM Records, they helped shape the nu-disco and edits scene. In the early days of the labels, Andy and Sean teamed up to release a prolific catalogue of music from many artists, including their own joint productions under various pseudonyms such as Brothers Young, alongside icons like Odyssey, Ashley Beedle, John Morales and the legendary Amp Fiddler.

He is best known for eclectic sets rooted in Jazz and Soul across London’s premier audiophile systems. You can find him commanding his custom-built Public Fidelity sound system at his Mad Cats residency in Shoreditch, guesting regularly at the world-famous BBE Store, or spinning at his other recent residencies for Hidden Grooves and The Roses of Elagabalus.

From living room to hi-fi bar, Mad Cats is the debut venture of Edgard. What began as a series of lively dinner parties in their London flat - evolved naturally into a intimate space. Despite its polish, Mad Cats remains a deeply personal passion project where Ed spevnds his weeks soundtracking the space with a record collection that weaves through hard bop, latin jazz,  soul and more. It’s this focus on crafting a memorable feeling that defines the Mad Cats philosophy.
