Tawiah [pronounced Taa-We-Ah] is a rare and singular voice in contemporary music — a film composer, live performer, and alt-soul singer/songwriter whose work moves with raw honesty and depth.
Over the years, she’s built an extraordinary career — from her award-winning debut EP In Jodi’s Bedroom (2007) to Recreate (2017), her acclaimed debut album Starts Again (2019), and the bold concept project Ertha (2022).
Alongside her own releases, Tawiah has become a sought-after collaborator, working with Dev Hynes, Kindness, Mark Ronson, and touring with Moses Sumney and Michael Kiwanuka.
As a composer, her recent work includes scores for ITV’s Without Sin, BBC’s Black Ops, Amazon’s Anansi Boys, and campaigns for leading global brands.
Now, Tawiah steps onto the stage with a deeply personal new body of work. Her third album, LOTS, reflects on leaving her hometown of London in search of stillness, clarity, and reconnection with her “why.”
In these songs, she explores themes of home, transition, love, and renewal — creating music that is as spacious as it is intimate, as reflective as it is soulful.
