Qobuz Presents: Listening with Intention

Thursday 23rd April • 14:15-15:15 • Flow State Hub, Ely’s Yard, E1 6QR

Hosted by high quality music streaming platform Qobuz, this panel examines how listening habits are changing in an age shaped by algorithms, digital access and renewed interest in physical formats.

From curated playlists to independent record stores, the session explores the tension between convenience and intentional listening. How do streaming models influence discovery? Where can artists and labels build sustainable relationships with audiences? And as AI-generated music becomes more visible, what conversations are needed around authorship, ethics and control?

Bringing together perspectives from across the music ecosystem, the discussion considers how technology continues to reshape consumption — while asking what is lost or gained in the process. Grounded in the realities of today’s listening landscape, the panel looks beyond trend cycles to examine how platforms, artists and audiences might cultivate deeper, more meaningful engagement with music.
